One great way to personalize your event is with a monogram or quote that is repeated throughout your event.  To help personalize your event I found this amazing website Wonderful Wedding Graffiti.  It has so many great ideas on how to use monograms and to implement these ideas is as simple as adding to your shopping cart.  Here are just a few of the many ideas they have…

I have had the pleasure of witnessing a multitude of toasts. I have cried with all the guests as the Father of Bride reminded us all of the little girl the bride once was, but would always be to him and have stood in the back of the room praying that the best man end his toast, as he has had one to many cocktails. But I would have to admit I was blown away when I saw this toast. It will be one you will not soon forget.

Inspirations

April 29, 2008

I would love to see some pictures and ideas that have helped to inspire your event. I have put together a little sample of some inspirations for an event that I am working on.

I love the simplicity yet playfulness of this design concept. I think that pink and purple can sometimes be hard to do, but these colors work well to create a contemporary yet fun event!

Made of Honor

April 29, 2008

I always enjoy a great romantic comedy and love Patrick Dempsey,so I was thrilled when I heard about the new movie “Made of Honor“. But I was even more excited when I received 50 passes to a sneak preview! If you would like to get a free just stop by our store and we would be more the happy to give you one!

What: Sneak Preview Event

Where: Cottonwood Mall Starport Theather

When: Tuesday, April 29th @ 7:30 PM

I love the simple and elegant look that was created in this event.  This event goes to show that classic elegance will never go out of style.

Decor: Champagne Satin Linens covered the Royal Tables for all the guests. To create a cohesive look the ceiling was draped in sheer ivory and champagne and offset with chinese lanterns.

Floral: Staying with a very classic look the bride used dendrobium orchids to add some height and a softness to the event that only floral can bring.

Cake: The brides cake was designed to replicate the lace in her gown and the cake table was created to replicate her gown.  While the grooms cake was a fire fighters hat surrounded by some of his and his fathers fire fighting memorabilia.

Details: Each place setting had a box with a bell shaped cookie inside (get it Liz and Zac BELL).

Mindy Weiss, a wedding planner to the stars, and Two’s Company have teamed up to offer brides amazing new products. One of my favorite products is the “Unforgettable” Sticky Notes Booklet. It is the perfect thing to have as you are looking for great ideas in some of your favorite books and magazines. The sticky notes are preprinted with: I Do, Must Have, Love It, Maybe, Great Idea, Perfect and Unforgettable. I hate having to look through every page of a 200 page magazine for a photo that I loved and I know is on the upper right hand side… well… somewhere on the right…

The other must have product is the “Emergency Kit”. There are hundreds of things to remember on the day of your wedding and the last thing you want to think about is everything that can go wrong. This kit will allow you to not have to worry about some of those unexpected events. The kit contains everything from aspirin to tampons… and can be used after your wedding as a great travel kit.

Monogramed Chocolates

April 27, 2008

Yesterday I was looking online and came across these great chocolates from weddingfavorites.com. I thought they were so cute and for only $.70 each they are a steal! I do not think you should waist your wedding budget on favors, most guests forget about them and they are left for you to take home at the end of the night. But if you are going to have favors, I would go with something edible. Being able to add a personalized touch for just $.70 a guest. I think they are so cute and a great idea.
